    Course Content includes:

    • An overview of the fundamentals of Fall Protection for employees working at height
    • Understanding of the Regulations that apply offshore Newfoundland and Labrador with regards to Fall Protection
    • Understanding proper use, inspection and maintenance of the different types of fall protection equipment utilized offshore including but not limited to anchors and anchor selection, lanyards, energy absorbers, connecting components, and self-retracting devices.
    • Practical videos demonstrating full body harness inspection and donning procedures.
    • Introduction to Fall Rescue Planning
    • How to calculate fall distances for planning safe work at heights.

    Completion Certificate: Issued upon completion of Final Examination.  Expiry after 5 years.
